About The Position

The Material Handler Production ensures the forklift is safe to operate by checking safety items and completing the forklift check sheet at the beginning of each shift. The role supports inventory rotation using FIFO, team objectives, plant housekeeping, and applicable IATF requirements. The position requires reading and understanding operational work instructions, lifting at least 25 pounds overhead as needed, standing for long periods, and working necessary overtime, which may include weekends. Other duties may be assigned to support the plant and its operations.

Responsibilities

• Check forklift safety items and complete the forklift check sheet at the beginning of each shift.
• Share responsibility for rotating inventory to ensure FIFO.
• Accept assignments and other responsibilities in support of team objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and throughout the plant.
• Adhere to applicable IATF requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the plant and its operations.
