About The Position

Flex is hiring a Material Handler in Dallas, Texas, to process inbound and outbound shipment activities. The role reports to the Materials Manager and works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into Axiom, an independent publicly traded company, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which focuses on critical digital infrastructure and end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
Solid organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.

Responsibilities

Load and unload deliveries safely using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks.
Verify the quality and count of unloaded items against supplier counts, and promptly report discrepancies to carriers, the supervisor, and the purchasing department according to company policy.
Notify the supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
Stage received materials and products in the appropriate locations.
Create shipping and receiving receipts in the system.
Inspect received materials and products, document issues, and refuse delivery when they do not meet quality standards.
Maintain inventory management systems so orders are updated and appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required.
Stage products in the appropriate area for pickup by the shipping carrier.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
