Requirements

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system
Must be able to read and write written work instructions, have basic math skills and be able to read a ruler to measure fractions of an inch
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all environment and safety regulations, including the Company’s environmental and safety policies and procedures.
Must be willing to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory and or management personnel

Nice To Haves

Prior forklift experience a plus but will train

Responsibilities

Provide daily tracking of all packaging supplies for the finishing department and related supplies.
Package sheeting and slitting orders; boxing, palletizing, suspending, banding, etc.
Check all rolls for Quality.
Ensure rolls are packaged in a quality manner.
Perform re-packaging of products not conforming to the customer and/or companies quality specifications.
Operate material handling/lifting equipment: Dalmec, C Hook, Big Joe, and Pallet Jack.
Operate bar code gun.
Move within packing area as work demands.
