About The Position
This is a night shift position responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured goods and maintaining a safe and clean production environment. The role involves packing, stacking, performing quality checks, and assisting other shifts as needed. Employees are expected to follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and GMP.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of quality.
- Complete understanding of all quality and pertinent procedures.
- Understanding of stacking patterns, job folders and customer specifications.
- Ability to perform each duty proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce Silgan Safety, Quality and GMP policies.
- Provide quality verification/inspections of all manufacturing activities and management systems.
- Pack and stack assigned lines as required per procedures with effective and efficient acceptability.
- Perform rework as assigned.
- Perform label changes, screen wipes, and ink replenishment.
- Record all hourly checks and machine downtime.
- Keep machines and production floor clean and safe.
- Assist other shifts when needed.
- Report all unsafe acts or conditions.
- Follow all company procedures and policies.
- Provide input and assistance with general duties.
- Support other departments when needed.
