About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting production schedules by preparing, delivering, and removing resins and related equipment. The Material Handler ensures the production floor has adequate materials, manages inventory, prepares shipments, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. This position requires the ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Capable of forklift, hand pallet truck and hand cart operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adhere to workplace policies.
  • Must have excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and interact with all levels of personnel professionally.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and complete work independently.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic reading and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, delivers, and removes resins and material related equipment to support the production schedule.
  • Supports and performs resin changeovers as required.
  • Uses equipment to regrind parts.
  • Moves, labels, stores and transacts parts accurately.
  • Determines the material needs of the production floor and reacts accordingly to ensure all machinery has enough material to maintain operations.
  • Ensures timely shipment of customer orders and materials.
  • Monitors merchandise receiving reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Initiates and performs physical reconciliation of scheduled inventories.
  • Prepares and packs outgoing customer orders.
  • Prepares necessary documents for domestic and international shipments including labels, bill of lading and gathering all the necessary documents.
  • Stores and maintains raw materials for manufacturing operations (includes inventory control).
  • Records all outgoing and incoming goods and material from suppliers and manufacturing.
  • Identifies and stores the goods and material in the correct location.
  • Cleans and maintains warehouse and manufacturing areas.
  • Controls and maintains, and record scrap.
  • Adheres to safety policies and strives to maintain our outstanding safety record.
  • Keeps work area, tools, supplies and equipment clean and organized.
  • Performs other job-related and department-related duties as assigned.
