About The Position

Under direct supervision, this role physically stages materials, parts, and sub-assemblies for production. The Material Handler I ensures that production has the required components to maintain the established workflow. This position locates materials and expedites part shortages within the plant. The Material Handler I communicates all parts issues to group leaders and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of transaction affect on inventory.
• Correctly measures materials.
• Basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
