About The Position

The Material Handler IV role is part of a career lattice that rewards and recognizes employees for cross-training and learning new skills. Team members are cross-trained on various tasks supporting production operations. The position works weeknights, Monday through Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to learn the ERP system.
• No related experience is typically required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and reach trucks and maintain a forklift license.
• Complete work orders using systems or verbal and written instructions.
• Check schedules and machines to identify materials needed.
• Transport requested materials to the appropriate departments for production use or to shipping and receiving.
• Sort materials to optimize warehouse space.
• Maintain daily inventory records.
• Report order damage to a supervisor.
• Perform simple maintenance on forklift tractors, including checking the battery, radiator, and oil fluids.
• Maintain equipment, clean the machine, and keep the work area clean.
