About The Position

Picks and pulls materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists. This role involves receiving purchased component items, performing cycle counts, printing and pulling warehouse shop orders and customer orders, and attending daily assembly Gemba meetings. The Material Handler will also consolidate warehouse materials, remove excess and obsolete material, and put away all inbound materials. Maintaining accurate inventory records for all raw materials and processing required paperwork are key responsibilities. The role requires operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials. There may be opportunities for cross-training in the shipping function to assist shipping personnel as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

Familiarity with JDE.
Attention to detail is critical.
Must work with a sense of urgency.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must support and work in a team environment.
Excellent attendance record and solid performance record.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have good reading skills and basic math skills.
Ability to lift 25 lbs on a frequent basis.
Ability to stand and walk most of the day.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience preferred.
Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
Blueprint reading preferred.

Responsibilities
