Material Handler III - Shipping & Receiving
About The Position
We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to operate forklifts, overhead cranes or other mobile equipment to perform a variety of intermediate and complex activities such as receiving inventory, loading and unloading, as well as staging and moving raw materials and finished goods within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site. Whether you’re an experienced operator or eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we welcome candidates of all backgrounds to bring their unique strengths to our team. Standard hours are Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm with some OT required. These hours are subject to change during peak season.
Requirements
- Keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.
- Enjoy hands-on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.
- Comfortable working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Value safety, organization, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, industrial racks, trailers, trucks, etc.
- Transports materials from storage or production areas and places in designated areas.
- Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or part as needed.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
- Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
