About The Position
Avery Dennison is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Painesville, OH! In this role, you will manage daily shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and inventory to keep our operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/logistics experience.
- Tow motor (forklift) certification required.
- Computer proficiency (Oracle ERP preferred, MS Office).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle shifting priorities, and work overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- DOT/Hazmat preferred.
Responsibilities
- Arrange freight pick-ups, load/unload trucks, and coordinate dock activities for incoming stock, scrap, and parcel deliveries.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, process receipts in Oracle, tag inventory, and prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices).
- Perform audits, enforce FIFO procedures, and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and carriers to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
