Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • 2-5 years warehouse experience
  • 2-5 years of experience operating a forklift.
  • 2-5 years of experience operating a power jack
  • 2-5 years of experience operating a riding jack

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a scanning gun.
  • Experience using WMS system.
  • Experience loading and unloading 53-foot trailers and box trucks.
  • Experience and understanding of BIN transfers.
  • Inventory Control experience.
  • Good Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to add, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to cross-train in other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains individual work area/equipment in a neat, orderly manner.
  • Obtain and maintain proper training for powered industrial trucks.
  • Maintain daily logs.
  • Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment/ tooling, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
  • Use material handling equipment such as hand and powered pallet movers, fork trucks, and some powered packing equipment such as banders and stretch wrap machine.
  • Use WMS system to keep inventory accurate.
  • Locate, pick, move and store material and equipment according to established procedures, both written and verbal.
  • Stretch Wrap pallets.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records using various paper forms, computer systems, or RF Scan Guns.
  • Count items and audit pallets for inventory accuracy.
  • Pick Finished Goods cases per customer order.
  • Label individual cases as per labeling instructions.
  • Build pallets per customer specs.
  • Read and understand Production Schedule to perform kitting function.
  • Use WMS system to generate pick lists and transport tasks to move materials.
  • Split material pallets per pick list.
  • Create HU pallet labels in WMS.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
