About The Position

Litehouse Foods is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler II for its employee-owned food manufacturing company. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to move materials and fulfill orders, tracking inventory, maintaining safe and organized workspaces, and following food safety and quality policies. The work takes place in a cool, refrigerated environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with additional pay of $1.50 per hour for second shift and $3 per hour for third or D/C shift. The listed location and shift are placeholders and are not specified.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Forklift experience preferred; certification will be provided if needed.
Comfort working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Follow proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
