About The Position

Foamcraft is hiring a full-time Material Handler to bundle, wrap, and prepare custom foam fabrication for shipment according to customer specifications. The role involves safely operating an industrial forklift for material-handling assignments and keeping materials organized and accessible. It is hands-on, repetitive, fast-paced work that requires being on your feet and moving for most of the day, with lifting and moving materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds at times. The position is based onsite in Elkhart, Indiana. Pay starts at $15 per hour, with prior experience considered.

Responsibilities

Gather materials to ensure orders are completed correctly.
Pack foam in the proper quantities.
String tie, plastic wrap, or place materials in plastic bags as directed.
Mark foam or attach labels to packages as directed.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Keep materials clean, sorted, organized, and easy to access.
Move materials throughout the department safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks as instructed and according to schedules.
Safely and efficiently operate an industrial forklift for material-handling assignments.
