About The Position

Oshkosh Delivery is dedicated to redefining last-mile and commercial delivery by designing and manufacturing durable, efficient, and sustainable delivery vehicles. The Material Handler II supports internal and external customers by accurately receiving, stocking, delivering, and shipping materials. The role also operates material support equipment and performs material support functions in an assigned operations facility.

The position requires safe, accurate material handling and inventory transactions, along with maintaining a clean work environment and following established safety and 5S standards. The role works in a changing, fast-paced environment and may involve physical tasks and exposure to dust, temperature extremes, and loud noises.

Requirements

• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Good computer, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments and processes.
• Ability to make accurate decisions under established guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of applicable position experience.
• Experience using warehouse technology or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull materials and supplies listed on production or sales orders, and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production.
• Verify parts and quantities accurately and complete bills of lading (BOLs) to receive or ship material.
• Operate material handling equipment, including stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, and tugger equipment, in the assigned operations facility.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and 5S standards.
• Follow safe operating procedures when using material support equipment.
• Use computer equipment and the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
