About The Position

The Material Handler supports production needs by setting up, adjusting, and operating bottle-handling equipment, labelers, and video jets. This role maintains equipment and bottle supply, helps keep production machinery running, and supports production and maintenance teams when issues arise. The position requires following safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

This is a second-shift position with hours of 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The employee must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. The listed hourly pay is $18.00. Retention bonuses of $1,000 after 90 days and $2,500 after six months are offered, subject to eligibility and terms.

Requirements

• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or international education equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50–60 pounds, and to push and pull stacks of products weighing up to 200 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Check bottles for correct codes and labels during changeovers.
• Monitor the Alpine, clear jams, and reroute jugs as needed.
• Maintain jug supply and storage, and communicate bottle trailer needs to the supervisor.
• Keep machines running to the bagging machine.
• Operate the bagging machine when production is down.
• Communicate issues to the lead person or supervisor.
• Assist Maintenance when equipment is down.
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
