Responsible for the safe movement of customer products and the accurate processing of routine and moderately complex products in accordance with established specifications and procedures. Operates under quality and safety guidelines using work instructions and operating systems. May support different operational functions as needed. This is a physically demanding position requiring strength and endurance.
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary Education (High School Diploma / GED).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Basic computer system skills.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in duties and responsibilities.
- Sufficient hearing ability to detect alarms and signals.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Related prior experience (approximately 2 years)
Responsibilities
- Transfer products from the raw storage area to the processing area.
- Load and unload processed products, prepare shipments, and place products in the appropriate area.
- Review product documentation and specific customer requirements to ensure proper processing.
- Maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime by monitoring equipment used for product movement.
- Perform minor repairs and report major failures or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing operational functions as needed.
- Support inventory control by receiving, identifying, labeling, and storing products in designated areas according to established procedures.
- Contribute to processing and product control accuracy by maintaining documentation, applying corrective actions, and using monitoring devices according to specifications.
- Comply with organizational policies, quality standards, and established operating principles.
- Support management decisions and perform other assigned duties as needed.
