About The Position

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Material Handler for our Dallas, Oregon facility. The selected candidate will help with shipping and receiving. This role is onsite at our Dallas, Oregon location and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

Receive materials into stock
Pick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departments
Maintain accurate inventory levels
Perform cycle counts and end of month inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system
Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environment
Final clean and packaging for a wide variety of products
Prepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS and FedEx websites
Verify incoming shipments
Arrange occasional LTL and same-day shipments
Local pickup and delivery back-up
Coordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment
