About The Position

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility. The position involves handling incoming materials, replenishing workstations, maintaining stock and pick locations, and transferring finished products. Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities, including reporting hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents; wearing required personal protective equipment; and supporting safety committee activities. Duties may change or new ones may be assigned at any time.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be forklift operation certified.
Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker, and Drexel.
Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
Functional vision and hearing required.
Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with part numbering systems.

Responsibilities

Use a hand scanner.
Pick up incoming materials from the Receiving dock.
Unload and put away stock in the Bulk storage area.
Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
Pull and stock the correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations.
Transfer finished products to designated areas.
Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack.
Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems and report other problems to a manager.
Participate in safety and health program activities, including reporting hazards and unsafe practices, wearing required personal protective equipment, and supporting safety committee activities.
