About The Position

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Material Handler I for its distribution center in Horn Lake, Mississippi. The role maintains and moves materials within the warehouse and supports receiving, inventory, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping activities. The position uses material-handling equipment and computerized warehouse systems and requires adherence to safety and security procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience in material handling.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds.
Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.

Nice To Haves

Clamp experience is desired.
At least 3–6 months of forklift operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and move materials within the division, plant, or warehouse.
Load and safely unload freight.
Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, computer terminals, carts, and electric pallet jacks.
Perform forklift operations.
Verify incoming materials against accompanying documents for completeness and accuracy, as needed.
Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
Assemble, pack, pick, and kit materials, as needed.
Count inventory for physical inventory, cycle counts, and shipping or receiving accuracy.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Move materials to or from appropriate storage areas.
Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly; follow safety rules and established security procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
