Material Handler I/II, Shipping
About The Position
Invivoscribe is seeking a Material Handler I/II, Shipping to ensure the timely processing of shipments in accordance with internal procedures by assembling and organizing materials needed for shipments. This role contributes to the overall quality of products, efficiency of shipping, and growth of the company through the proper shipment of materials adhering to existing Quality Management System processes. Invivoscribe is a global leader in precision oncology diagnostics, developing and manufacturing a comprehensive portfolio of molecular assays, reagents, controls, and bioinformatics tools under ISO 13485 design control. Our products and services support over 700 clinical laboratories in more than 160 countries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Typically, 1 – 2 years of applicable experience, preferably with ISO 13485 or regulated industry.
- Applied experience in an ERP system; Oracle Cloud is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to learn new software programs to include Oracle ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Performs the required Shipping tasks for the shipment of materials by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
- Ensures that international shipments meet all of the export requirements and procedures, including electronic submissions of EEI via ACE system.
- Ensures materials are sequestered for designated use (i.e.: Sales Agreement, Sales Order “Holds”, etc.).
- Maintains knowledge of shipping carrier procedures and policies.
- Assists with Cycle Count program; performing cycle counts and completing count listing sheets.
- Assist Management in maintenance of the shipping general inventory, performing inventory counts, and notifying Management of purchasing needs.
- Assists with all Shipping Protocol/Validations required to support business continuity and projects.
- Monitors the temperature-controlled cold storage and warehouse locations; performs preventative maintenance on cold storage equipment.
- Maintains a clean, organized work environment to facilitate efficient execution of job functions.
- May contribute to training and observing other associates as required; ensures Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
