Read more about our story at: www.iplglobal.com As Material Handler, you will ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution. You will ensure the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area. Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders Mains in-process inventory at work centres by delivering and opening materials and supplies Daily stock counting and ordering items for production Locates and packs materials for shipping Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units Transferring items, finish goods and materials physically and electronically on IT systems Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product Documents product shipment by recording units shipped Operating, cleaning and maintaining forklift trucks (charging and topping water in batteries) Inspection of Finished Goods Labels & Packaging prior to wrapping pallets Operating Central feed, checking alarms, troubleshoot finding issues and solutions Cleaning Central feed area & Filters, Filling materials in Central feed area and on the production floor Removal of Shift Scrap from Production Floor Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. Open containers, sort, and catalogue materials Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations

Requirements

  • Forklift certifications – Counterbalance, Reach truck and PPT will be advantageous
  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and barcode scanners
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA & other)

Responsibilities
