About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment, loading and unloading trucks, and managing warehouse product space. The position requires safe and efficient operation of forklifts and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure production lines run smoothly. The individual will also be responsible for inventory management using FIFO procedures and accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • 2-3 years forklift experience required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, reach and repeated lifting
  • Must be able to hear and distinguish sounds and noises in a loud manufacturing environment
  • Must have acuity in both straight and peripheral vision
  • Ability to withstand frequent drastic changes in temperature
  • 100% continuous compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Working safely
  • Ability to work independently and with little direction from management

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a sanitary and clean working environment, including dumping trash and cleaning around compactor, shipping dock, stretch wrapper areas, and all warehouse spaces.
  • Load and unload trucks with raw materials, finished products, equipment, and dunnage.
  • Load empty pallets into the palletizer, offload and stretch wrap, and properly stack full pallets.
  • Remove dunnage from the depalletizer and feed bottles to the depalletizer to keep production lines running.
  • Consolidate product to create warehouse space for future production runs, including the next flavor, package, or the next shift’s production.
  • Conduct safety inspections of forklifts.
  • Inspect loads for cleanliness and quality.
  • Ensure trailer and container tags seals are intact.
  • Use FIFO procedures for proper rotation of full goods and raw materials.
  • Accurately record receipts and shipments on documents and in a computerized system.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
