Requirements

At least 1 year of safe forklift operating experience.
Forklift certification.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requires the use of hands for handling materials and visual abilities including close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
Positive attitude.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive environment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read and accurately interpret customer work orders, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures).
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Not required but desirable.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment to load and unload trucks.
Participate in the efficient reception of overseas containers by properly identifying products and quantities received, accurately labeling products, and storing products in designated bin locations.
Break down, rebuild, pack, and securely shrink-wrap pallets according to shipping specifications, ensuring load stability, product protection, and efficient warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper product placement, accurate identification, and removing unnecessary equipment or supplies.
Maintain a high level of integrity, work ethic, and professionalism in all forms of communication.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety and company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
