About The Position
The Material Handler/Equipment Cleaner supports daily yard operations by safely loading and unloading rental equipment, cleaning equipment after use, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and reporting any equipment damage to the appropriate manager or technician.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate yard and loading equipment (training provided).
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs as needed.
- Basic communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload rental equipment, materials, and scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Clean equipment after rental return and prepare units for the next customer.
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area, including trash removal and general facility upkeep.
- Inspect returning equipment and immediately report any damage or missing parts to the shop foreman or Inside Sales Manager.
- Assist customers on the yard with professionalism and safe handling practices.
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Perform additional yard support duties as assigned.
