About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Pressroom Material Handler 2 to assist the press team in the manufacturing process by creating neat bundles or bales and accurately placing them on pallets. The role involves monitoring printed materials for defects, counting and labeling bales and pallets, preparing machine settings, assisting with press setup and makereadies, and managing job materials and supplies while keeping the work area clean and organized. No experience is required. The position is based at 1005 Commercial Drive in Owensville, Missouri, and offers 12-hour crew shifts from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. The posting notes that employees work half the days in a year. Pay is $19 per hour, with a potential increase to $19.75 per hour after six months if eligible. Responsibilities
