About The Position

The full-time Material Handler 1 – Glass role at OBE’s Battle Ground, Washington facility supports production by moving materials with vacuum lift assist equipment and manually moving mobile carts between positions and locations. The role is part of the Production Department and reports to the Production Supervisor. It is suited to a committed, detail-oriented team player seeking to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic computer input and interface skills.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Must be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plant.
Available to work a five-day workweek, with occasional Saturdays.
Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently.
Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to twelve hours per day.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Stable work history with previous manufacturing or fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities
