About The Position

The Material Flow Engineer supports manufacturing logistics and industrial engineering initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role works with engineering, materials management, production teams, and external suppliers to improve material movement, storage, and manufacturing workflows. Responsibilities include supporting the design and development of material handling equipment, coordinating with suppliers, reviewing material storage configurations, maintaining Plan for Every Part (PFEP) documentation, and creating engineering and process documentation. The engineer uses CAD software and operational data analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements to plant material flow, space utilization, safety, and productivity. This is a 100% onsite assignment in Whitakers, North Carolina (Rocky Mount area), on first shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. The W2 assignment is approximately six months, with potential for extension.
