About The Position

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Material Flex Technician to join their team. This role involves safely and effectively preparing for production changeovers, completing necessary paperwork, and utilizing various equipment such as RF scanners, barcode printers, and material blenders. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, grinding rejects, performing maintenance on equipment, and supplying presses with the correct materials and additives according to the production Bill of Materials (BOM). Additionally, the role requires understanding and complying with ORBIS ISO procedures, meeting attendance and performance standards, and actively participating in continuous improvement activities. The position also includes loading/unloading trailers and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively prep for all changeovers according to production schedule.
Complete paperwork including FPI/IPI, Process Variances, etc.
Use RF scanners/barcode printers.
Complete IPI part measurement.
Always maintain a neat and clean environment.
Grind rejects based upon material type.
Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance of grinder.
Clean and change vacuum filters.
Set up and operate material blenders.
Use Bin-Master system.
Supply presses with resin in accordance with production BOM.
Supply presses with colorant and other additives according to production BOM.
Set up material dryers.
Load/Unload trailers of regrind, purge, rejects, etc.
Understand and comply with ORBIS ISO procedures, processes and work instruction.
Meet satisfactory attendance and performance by ORBIS Corporation standards.
Be actively involved in continuous improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
