About The Position
Expedites, routes, and dispatches materials and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews the master production schedule to identify possible and actual shortages and alerts the appropriate authorities to potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and maintains records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials, such as arranging repair of damaged materials or transportation of in-house materials. Reports completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications. This is a second-shift position with a 4/10 schedule, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
