About The Position

Serves as a Material Coordinator with a primary purpose of this position is to assist and advise on aspects of transportation movements services (unit movements, material movements, rail operations, barge operations, and air operations), involving all modes of transposition, (rail, motor, air, and water), nationwide and overseas. Performs staff assistance pertaining to transportation movement, missions, and functions for assigned areas. Assignments are varied and pertain to policies, systems, operations, and functions of transportation. Must have practical knowledge of industry practices and procedures and the established regulations, requirements, and techniques related to various transportation functions in order to perform staff assistant work in specified segments of large projects or well-defined projects of lesser scope requiring application of standardized transportation methods and procedures. Must know T/CAIMS. Additionally, must have good communications skills and ability to work with senior level military personnel.

Requirements
