About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to support its MADIS (Marine Air Defense Integrated System) and CAC2S (Common Aviation Command and Control System) programs. The logistics team supports the mission by implementing and maintaining systems used on military vehicle platforms and working alongside the integration team. Supported assets include radio communication, optics, radar, and detection capabilities on platforms such as the Polaris MRZR, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs), the Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV), and the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).

The role supports material coordination and warehouse logistics in North Charleston and Hanahan, South Carolina. The position monitors material records, coordinates material flow and deliveries, reconciles inventory information, and works with logistics staff, vendors, and suppliers to help ensure timely handling and movement of materials. The job also involves regular physical activity in a warehouse environment, including handling loads up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma at minimum.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum of Position of Trust.
• Ability to safely meet the physical demands of warehouse work, including regularly lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, and walking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, or squatting for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies.
• Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports.
• Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements.
• Collaborate with material handlers and warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely and efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of material.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of material to and from various departments.
• Assist Logistics Leads with daily coordination.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues.
