About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Material Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting our Service Operations team. In this position, you will help keep projects moving by ensuring the timely delivery and pickup of tools, materials, consumables, and equipment across Service jobsites throughout New England, with a primary focus on the Metro Boston area. As a key link between our warehouse, dispatch team, and field employees, you will help drive operational efficiency and contribute directly to the success of our projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in warehouse operations or material coordination.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer applications, email, and text messaging.
  • Valid Class D Driver’s License required.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities including kneeling, bending, and stooping.

  • Knowledge of Boston and the surrounding areas preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a company vehicle to Service jobsites to deliver tools and supplies needed for projects and pick up tools and materials from completed jobs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with onsite Field Service employees and clients regarding deliveries.
  • Review work orders to ensure trucks are properly loaded, all materials are securely fastened, and deliveries leave on time to meet deadlines.
  • During high-volume periods, gather and organize parts, supplies, tools, and other miscellaneous items needed for Service jobsites.
  • Ensure Service trucks and material handling equipment are regularly inspected, maintained, and safe to use.
  • Assist dock and field employees with loading and unloading materials as needed.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed, including material handling, logging packages, and organizing storage.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols (including hi-vis clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, cut-level 4 gloves, safety vest, and work boots) when loading and unloading trucks, as well as any additional safety requirements while onsite at jobsites.
