Requirements

  • Oracle training completion (If not certified, must be able to achieve certification within 30 days).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own PPAP process including new parts and revision changes.
  • Responsible for clear communication and coordination between engineering, suppliers and operation departments.
  • Responsible for coordinating phase in/ phase out activities to maximize the balance between cost, service and inventory.
  • Responsible for owning process of updating planning parameters of changeover parts (forecast, lead time, minimum order quantities, etc.).
  • Understand basic tasks in Windchill.
  • Complete 9-step problem solving to improve overall material change process.
  • Own changeover process for Heijunka kitting.
  • Responsible for owning effective date standard work flow and evaluating risk buys and material dispositions.
  • Provide materials management project leadership for activities such as supplier transitions, VA/VA, footprint transitions and new product introductions.
