About The Position

The Material Analyst supports material planning and production control in a manufacturing environment, ensuring raw materials and components are available to meet customer demand. The role develops and drives planning processes, procedures, and methodologies to improve cost, quality, and delivery. It also establishes appropriate inventory levels and provides internal reporting and analysis on stockouts and material status. The position plans raw materials based on the Sales and Operations Plan and Master Production Schedules, anticipates potential impacts with suppliers and production, validates and sends weekly forecasts to suppliers, and follows material arrivals against firm orders to ensure suppliers ship parts on time. The posting lists the role as full time and a permanent contract.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a formal degree.
Five years of experience in a leadership role (team leader or above) or analytical role (production scheduler/data analyst) in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in material planning and/or a thorough understanding of SAP or other ERP systems in a JIT environment.
