About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and flexible Masters Level Social Worker for its Child/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. This is a PER DIEM role. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit, performing psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, participating in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and providing discharge planning/case management services, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments. For the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, essential duties include providing direct care under supervision, ensuring a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating with referral sources and families. The Horsham Clinic is a 206-bed behavioral healthcare facility serving children, adolescents, adults, and their families, with satellite programs in Chester County and Delaware County.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work REQUIRED
  • 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required
  • Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
  • Experience running group therapy
  • Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication

  • Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
