About The Position

The Master Toyota Technician performs light or heavy repairs, diagnosis and warranty repairs on customer vehicles. Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in the dealership processes and policies. Pay commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Must have ASE and Toyota Certifications
Minimally 3 years as a Toyota Main Line Technician
Certified to perform state inspections
Competent knowledge of automotive technology and related tools and equipment
High school diploma or GED
4 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations
Valid driver’s license
No criminal background history
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Detail oriented with multi-tasking ability
Good customer service focus
Good communication skills
Knowledgeable of factory vehicle repairs, tools and equipment
Exceptional problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Conducts multipoint inspections and video inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed services and repairs.
Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by the dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating conditions.
Documents inspection findings and requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor/ASM.
Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work throughout the shop.
Quality checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.
Stays up to date with all manufacturer and dealership required training.
