About The Position

CHR is seeking a Master's Level Intern for its Adult Outpatient Program in Willimantic, Connecticut. The Adult Outpatient Program provides psychiatric and substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment, including assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, and family treatment, as well as medication evaluation and monitoring.

The internship provides firsthand experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment. Interns may also gain experience with assessment, independent living skills, outreach treatment services, and medication evaluation and monitoring. The internship is 15–20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in a mental health field.
• Valid driver's license.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
