Master's Level Intern: Adult Outpatient Program- 7366
About The Position
The Master's Level Intern will work with CHR’s Adult Outpatient Program in Willimantic, Connecticut. The program provides psychiatric and substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment, including assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, and family treatment, as well as medication evaluation and monitoring. The internship offers firsthand experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment. Interns may also gain experience with assessment, independent living skills, outreach treatment services, and medication evaluation and monitoring. The internship schedule is 15–20 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a master’s degree program in a mental health field.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
