About The Position

JRI's Community Based Services helps children and families with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs access services that support success at home, school, and in the community. Through the Cape Cod Community Based Program, the intern supports this mission and gains experience working in community-based mental health. JRI provides support and supervision to help interns develop clinical skills. Staff provide in-home therapy in the communities where clients live, using strength-based, needs-driven, team-based, individualized services and evidence-based practices. The internship offers extensive supervision from licensed and experienced staff to support clinical growth and the hours needed toward degree completion.

Requirements

• Working toward a Master's degree or above in a mental health field, such as psychology or social work.
• Clinical interest in working with children or adolescents.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Completion of background and driving record checks.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models.

Responsibilities

• Support children and families through the Cape Cod Community Based Program.
