About The Position

The primary role of the Master Mechanic is the direct supervision and performance of underground and surface mechanical personnel to ensure quality maintenance, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, disassembly, inspections, rebuilds, and reassembly to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated components and equipment such as engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc. all related to mining equipment such as Jumbo drills, haul trucks, bolters, loaders, dozers, etc. Redpath, founded in 1962, offers a high level of service to the mining industry, exceeding current standards and providing challenge for its employees.
