About The Position

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking an experienced Master Fabricator Machinist for its Lincoln Main facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role supports the company’s composite products for defense and commercial aerospace markets. The schedule is an alternate 12-hour weekend shift, from Friday at 6:30 p.m. through Monday at 7:00 a.m. The starting hourly rate is $30.12, with a $2.00 shift premium upon transfer to B Shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and finish varied products using written processing instructions or verbal instructions, drawings, techniques, tooling, materials, supplies, precision measuring devices, hand and power tools, and work aids.
• Perform equipment setup and changeover.
• Perform minor maintenance duties.
• Move parts and materials to various locations.
• Maintain housekeeping in the general work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant, along with other assigned duties.
