About The Position

Uniroyal Engineered Products is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to join our maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Stoughton, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility's electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess an active Wisconsin Master Electrician license and have substantial hands-on electrical experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Director and maintenance team to troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support production equipment, and ensure electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards.

Requirements

  • Current Wisconsin Master Electrician license in good standing.
  • Industrial or manufacturing electrical experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, electrical safety practices, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when diagnosing electrical and equipment issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with maintenance, production, engineering, and management personnel.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with industrial maintenance work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with three-phase power and industrial motor controls.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic controls in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting equipment installations, upgrades, or facility electrical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, controls, and related components.
  • Diagnose electrical failures and equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventive and predictive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, electrical panels, circuits, sensors, switches, and other industrial electrical components.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
  • Perform electrical installations, modifications, upgrades, and repairs in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.
  • Support electrical aspects of equipment installations, facility improvements, and capital projects.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, production, and outside contractors to resolve electrical and equipment issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve electrical reliability, equipment performance, and workplace safety.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications.
  • Ensure electrical work complies with applicable National Electrical Code (NEC), Wisconsin requirements, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures.
  • Respond to electrical issues affecting manufacturing operations and prioritize work based on safety and production needs.
  • Perform other maintenance and electrical duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
