This means stepping in and providing an immediate positive impact to BETA in our march to full production.
Requirements
- 3+ Years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and a degree in an engineering discipline or commensurate experience in manufacturing
- General understanding of PLM systems such as Smarteam, 3DX, Siemens and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Epicor as well as an operational knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis principles and their application to engineering change review
- Ability to interpret and extract detailed information from engineering drawings, including tolerances, notes, revision history, and BOM references
- Understanding of manufacturing capacity planning and machine shop operations, including machining processes, lead times, and resource constraints
- Experience analyzing 3D scan and CMM measurement data to assess dimensional conformance and support engineering change decisions

Responsibilities
- Facilitate review of new engineering design for aircraft systems
- Analyze GD&T tolerances to determine design manufacturability
- Analyze engineering drawings and releases to address errors during engineering release cycle in PLM
- Assist in the coordination of product lifecycle management from product ideation to change implementation within ERP systems
- Assist in defining scope and creation of documentation pertaining to change management and implementation
- Use and maintain the current ERP system to improve production process and enhance production capability
