About The Position

Ecoplastic America Corporation (Register, GA) seeks a Production Planning Specialist to support the company’s injection molding operations and help keep production running smoothly.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a closely related field.
Knowledge of enterprise systems including enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Knowledge of SAP for production planning, inventory management, and data tracking, acquired through education or training.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end production planning and control for injection molding operations, aligning manpower, materials, and machine scheduling to support on-time delivery.
Create and update daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer needs and internal capacity.
Ensure molding lines have the materials, tools, and consumables needed to stay on schedule.
Maintain stock of essential injection molding supplies and communicate with both local suppliers and Korean vendors.
Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory information.
Handle supply chain raw materials, WIP, and finished goods levels to ensure customer orders can be shipped on time.
Provide Korean–English communication support by liaising between Korean management, local teams, and external vendors.
Translate production updates, technical information, and meeting discussions.
Maintain accurate production and inventory data in the MES and SAP systems.
Record daily production activity, inventory movements, and material usage to support reporting and decision-making.
Identify bottlenecks on the production floor and communicate to appropriate teams.
Analyze production capacity and demand to identify potential bottlenecks or constraints.
Develop strategies to optimize production resources and meet customer demands.
Create annual, monthly, and daily production plans based on annual orders and demand forecasts.
Record and monitor daily production performance in the ERP system.
Facilitate the closing of manufacturing orders and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate daily to align production plans with target production goals.
Oversee the management of out-of-pocket product warehousing, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
Register production information based on the Production Operation Plan (POP).
Maintain accurate records of production data.
Track equipment downtime and implement strategies to minimize disruptions.
Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure minimal impact on production.
Prepare shipping instructions and oversee the delivery process.
Monitor daily inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
Conduct monthly pay-off procedures to reconcile inventory.
Manage the procurement and inventory of KD (Knock-Down) imported parts and materials.
