Master Data Coordinator
About The Position
The Master Data Coordinator will execute master data requests by creating and maintaining records in SAP and related systems. This role supports the setup and maintenance of materials, suppliers, and other operational master data elements. The coordinator will review submitted requests for completeness, coordinate with internal teams for missing data, maintain logs and documentation, perform data validation, and assist with mass updates and data cleanup. Additionally, the role supports testing of master data changes and adheres to established master data governance procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in data entry, operations coordination, or administrative support
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Organized and able to manage multiple requests and priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems
- Strong communication and follow-up skills when coordinating across teams

Responsibilities
- Execute master data requests by creating and maintaining records in SAP and related systems

- Review submitted requests to ensure required information is complete before processing
- Coordinate with internal teams (Procurement, Planning, Finance, Operations) to gather missing data or clarifications
- Maintain request logs, intake trackers, and documentation related to master data changes
- Perform routine data validation checks to ensure consistency and accuracy across records
- Assist with mass updates, data cleanup, and system-driven data maintenance activities
- Support testing or validation of master data changes related to system updates or operational projects
- Follow established master data governance procedures and escalation paths
- Other duties as assigned or necessary
