About The Position

Absolute Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to provide PRN services to hospice patients in the Caldwell, Cambridge, and Zanesville, Ohio areas. The role uses therapeutic massage to bring comfort, relaxation, and relief to patients, promote well-being, and support quality of life for patients and their families. The therapist works alongside the hospice care team and provides care in a safe, caring, and respectful manner.

Requirements

• Current state license, certification, or registration as a Massage Therapist in good standing.
• At least one year of clinical massage therapy experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of clinical massage therapy experience preferred.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage services tailored to the individual comfort needs of hospice patients.
• Promote relaxation, comfort, and an improved sense of well-being.
• Create a safe, caring, and respectful environment for every patient.
• Develop and organize appropriate massage therapy services based on prescribed care and patient needs.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to support each patient's comfort and quality of life.
