The Massage Therapist is responsible for setting up treatment stations, greeting guests and explaining services, conducting pre-treatment consultations, promoting treatment products, and maintaining treatment rooms. The Massage Therapist will be knowledgeable of spa operations, including treatments, packages, and use of all spa equipment. They will set up treatment stations, ensuring all products and equipment are present and equipment is in working order. The role involves greeting guests, confirming services, and escorting them to the treatment room, ensuring medical releases are signed as required. The Massage Therapist will conduct pre-treatment consultations, explain draping procedures, and conduct treatments. They will promote and sell treatment products according to guest needs and preferences. The role also includes maintaining treatment rooms and stations before and after each use, including removing used linen, trash, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies. The Massage Therapist must maintain positive and professional communication with all team members, provide recognition to others, and participate in meetings to learn about global programs, new products and procedures, and to discuss areas of opportunities, special events, and other activities. Ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for co-workers and guests is crucial. The Massage Therapist should be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, conferences, and amenities to proactively assist guests, and promote property outlets. They will assist guests in finding locations within the property by escorting or giving clear directions and resolve guest complaints using property procedures. Creating a positive environment where all team members can maximize their potential is key. The role requires listening to comments, criticisms, and feedback from guests, employees, and managers to gain an understanding of strengths and opportunities for improvement. Working as a team, helping all team members to complete required activities to deliver Amplified Service, and participating in Sound Check meetings on each shift are essential. The Massage Therapist must always smile and offer a warm greeting, and know, understand, and practice the mission, values, mottos, culture, and spirit that make Hard Rock unique. Operating ethically to protect the Hard Rock brand and performing duties in accordance with company standards, policies, guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations are required. Additional duties may be requested by department managers and supervisors. Communication with supervisors and managers to ensure assigned duties are completed to standard, coordinating operations with other departments as needed, and maintaining confidentiality of guest, team member, and company information are also part of the role. Ensuring all property policies and procedures are fully implemented in the department, including health and safety guidelines, maintaining effective relationships with guests, and presenting a professional image to team members, guests, clients, owners, and investors are expected. General administrative duties and other assigned duties will also be performed.
