About The Position

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. The role requires meeting attendance guidelines, adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies, and attending all necessary training meetings. Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule. The role also involves assisting in other projects as directed and being an outstanding example and credit to Downstream Casino Resort.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • Possess required licenses for massage therapy that meets local and state requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a massage therapist, preferably in a hotel/resort environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of massage methods.
  • Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.

  • Evaluate staff on productivity, work habits and quality of work, carry out disciplinary measures as necessary.
  • Train staff as necessary.
  • Plan and control periodic and special inventories to reconcile physical against book inventories.
  • Provide for the inspection for goods received against purchase orders and specifications.
  • Coordinate the return of goods as directed.
  • Interface with purchasing to ensure timely and efficient service capabilities, including receipt, storage, release and disposition of property.
  • Alert hotel service manager of any damaged, spoiled, obsolete, surplus, and excess goods or unusual usage patterns.
  • Control and maintain assigned vehicles and material handling equipment for safe, efficient transport and delivery of goods.
  • Assist with resolution of disputes.
  • Establish procedures and directs personnel in the efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Recommend changes in equipment or facilities that would improve service and/or efficiency of the operations.
  • Prepare annual budgets and operating forecasts; prepares regular and special reports, maintains necessary records and files.
  • Schedule employees to provide maximum service.
  • Instruct personnel in safety policies and procedures.
  • Recommend changes in the operation including hiring, promotion, demotion, or release of personnel; approve and recommend wage and salary changes for personnel changes.
