Massage Therapist (On Call)
About The Position
This is an on-call position for a Massage Therapist. The role involves applying scientific massage techniques to promote relaxation, alleviate various types of headaches, and address conditions related to nervous system dysfunction. The therapist will also stimulate the circulatory system, provide relief for muscle tightness caused by stress, and shorten recovery time for injuries. The position may involve the use of complementary agents such as heat and aromatherapy. Additionally, the role includes performing opening and closing procedures as assigned and wearing a face mask while on duty. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements
- Must be able to wear face mask while on duty.
Responsibilities
- Applies the techniques of scientific massage to assist in the art of relaxation.
- Applies massage to relieve various headaches and other conditions caused by poor functioning of the nervous system.
- Stimulates the circulatory system.
- Provides release of muscle tightness caused by stressed and shortens recovery time for injuries.
- Works with various agents to complement massage, including but not limited to the application of heat aromatherapy.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Must be able to wear face mask while on duty.
- Other duties as assigned.
