Requirements

• Must possess a valid CA Massage Therapy license.
• Luxury hotel or spa experience required.
• Talent and commitment to service excellence and creativity.
• Unique personality and passion for the role and the team.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• Attention to detail is critical for this role.
• Flexibility is required as hotels operate nonstop.

Nice To Haves

• Certified to perform various types of massages, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Reflexology and Prenatal massages.

Responsibilities

• Set-up of workstation and spa with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
• Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Providing detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation.
• Host couple and group sessions.
• Report and work with other positions to correct imperfections and blemishes.
• Assess client’s needs and medical history.
• Develop and implement personalized massage plans.
• Provide aftercare instructions and recommendations.
• Communicate with other departments and extended hotel team to ensure alignment.
